Flour - Rye (Gazelle), Stone Ground Whole Rye, 3-lbs

Uses: Bread, brownies, chocolate cookies, scones

I swoon when I lift the lid off the fresh milled bin of "Gazelle" rye...the aroma is sweet, it reminds me of molasses and grass. 

Try it with your favorite brownie recipe. Replace 10% of your white flour with "Gazelle" in your pancake, bread or quick bread recipes. It will add nuanced flavor and aroma. You can keep increasing the percentage to find your sweet spot.

Fresh sweet flavor

This flour is as wonderful as all flours I've purchased from Beck's. I didn't add any sweetener apart from some raisins in my rustic cake and the flour added such a natural sweetness to the finished product. Another favorite Beck's product!

The Good Stuff

You can get cheaper flour at the grocery store, if they have it.

Have you ever seen a commercial grain mill? There are rodents every where it's just a fact of life. Grain dust everywhere. Rodents do what rodents do and they don't care if that flour is going to you.

It's just plain smart to support Beck's, higher quality product, a local source. Remember several months ago when the store shelves were barren?

You are putting a lot of time and effort in to your baking, use the good stuff. Keep Beck's going so they will be there.

Incredible rye flour

We are so thankful for access to this local, stone ground rye. It is full of life and makes a fantastic starter and a flavorful bread.
