Fry's Rye with Pumpkin Seeds

One of our favorites! A dense and tangy European-style rye with pumpkin seeds. It is in the bread family of Vollkornbrots (German/sourdough/all rye). 

~534g/18oz (⅓ of a pullman loaf)

Ingredients: 100% stone ground whole rye flour*, water, pumpkin seeds*, honey, sea salt, wild rye culture. (*organic)

OK, but J.F. does it better

I was excited to try this because the ingredients are the same as Josh Fox's loaf of the same kind. That's the only bread my body tolerates.Your loaf rose more and was more sour tasting, and more moist. However, when I eat J. F.'s loaf it feels like some problem in my gut is getting healed and when I eat yours, it doesn't. I merely get away with eating yours without GI distress. We can't figure out what it is about his drier, more dense and compact and less sour tasting loaf that causes the miraculous healing for my SIBO and/or SIFO. I wish we knew why, so we could develop a cure based on that. Also, your bread is more expensive. I was shocked at the size I had paid for in advance. It certainly wasn't shown to be so small a portion in the photos online.

Truly my bestest favorite 😍...Nutty like and earthy with a nice chew!...
I buy all the Ryes all the time, but there is just something special about this one. You can sense when you're eating something that you like, but also know how healthy and nourishing it is as well.

Delicious Whole Grain Wonder!!

True comfort food, which is also healthy, exists! Frye's Rye with pumpkin seeds is easy to slice and toast or to eat fresh. It also freezes well! I highly recommend it!

Outstandingly Yummy!

This Bread is dense and full flavored especially when sliced very thinly, toasted and and with just a little delicate smear of Larrupin Mustard Dill Sauce. It of course is also great with vegetable stews, fresh smoked salmon and, well actually..... almost anything!! Superbly delectable! I buy extra loaves and they freeze nicely to enjoy another time.
